Review of Thyme after Time cafe in Stalbridge
New cafe has very recently opened on a farm outside Stalbridge. I suggested to a friend we would try it out today. Thyme after Time is located on a farm outside Stalbridge. They are based along a main route and also offer takeaway option – I think it would be perfect to place lunch order and pick it up on your way to work
We got there at lunch time, few people were already in and the cafe was full by the time we left. Both of us chose to have sweet potato soup with stilton and walnut bread. However there was a disappointment as after we had ordered we were told the people before us had the last servings of the soup.
We both then chose the salad bar that either came with meat or quiche. Both us had the quiche with three salads we could choose ourselves.
It was great option for lunch however we both felt it was a bit pricey (£9.00). As we had time I had coffee and we shared a slice of blackcurrant and almond cake which was very fluffy and tasty!
Thyme after Time is certainly a lovely place for a spot of lunch. There are few tables outside too. We did sit inside today as it was a bit drizzly. And we both did check the breakfast menu and thought we may need to make a breakfast date with the children and husbands in tow soon!
