Here at Dorset Foodie Family, we love to discover new and tasty food producers and I was delighted to be contacted recently by Janessa at Sozages. Steve and Janessa Godden, the founders of Sozages, kindly gifted me some of their delicious range of hand produced Sozages and I happily cooked up a storm to trial their unique flavours.
Sozages was born in East Dorset out of a love of travel and British cuisine. Training in the Corden Blue School of cooking and with a range of top restaurants under his belt, Steve, with the help of his wife Janessa, set to it to take the humble sausage, throw in a healthy dose of travel inspired flavours and create a delicious new range of sausages.
Sozages currently have 6 flavours of sausages, all of which are made with British chicken and pork and include Kolkata Barbeque, French Vineyard, Korean Sweet Chilli, Moroccan Spices, Mediterranean Medley and Singapore Satay. You can read all about the different flavours on their website.
I was treated to packet of the French Vineyard and Moroccan Spiced Sozages. My family very much enjoyed the flavours, which definitely made our fairly standard plate of roasted new potatoes and veg that much more exciting!
