Review of Morrish and Banham Wine Shop in Dorchester
Morrish & Banham is a new wine merchant and tasting room that has only just opened in Brewery Square Dorchester. It is owned by Mark Banham and his wife’s maiden name is Morrish, so hence the name!
The shop has plenty of parking right outside, inside it is modern with minimum decoration, leaving the wine to be the star of the show! There is an amazing tasting table with a purpose built in ice tray, that originated from the time when it was a brewery. Mark plans to have evening tasting sessions, but if you can’t wait for this, you can always enjoy a glass sat in the window watching the world go by!
There is a great selection of Dorset wines and also the quirky Dorset Ale Gyle, brewed in the foothills of Thorncombe!
There is a wide range of wines from around the world, with bottles starting from around £6.99 upwards!
