The much loved Isabel’s Brasserie is back!
By Andrew Diprose, Editor, Dorset Biz News
It’s the news thousands of foodies were longing to hear… The much-loved Isabel’s in Poole is coming back.
More than a year after its closure, and then subsequent voluntary liquidation, the restaurant which became a local institution is returning, albeit under the new ownership of former Executive Head Chef Justin Castle and Front of House Manager Sarah Elmes, a new location, in Penn Hill, Poole, and with a modern twist.
The duo, who worked for a combined 48 years at the previous Isabel’s Restaurant in Ashley Cross, are investing £300,000 in their new venture and Isabel’s Brasserie is scheduled to open in mid-November after the extensive building work.
Taking inspiration from art nouveau, the 64-cover restaurant will be styled in the form of a traditional French brasserie but with a trendy bar area to bring together traditional and new and a colour palette of blue, gold, green and red.
Our story about the return of Isabel’s provoked the most views of any article since the launch of Dorset Biz News in 2019.
Until next month…
