Dorset’s Restaurants, Cafes and Bars.

Current Government restrictions due to Covid19 may mean that these restaurants are temporarily takeaway only or open with restricted seating. Always check with an establishment before travelling.

We wanted to make a Directory of all Dorset’s restaurants and takeaways but there are just so many, with unfortunately a huge variety in quality and service. Ultimately, we decided we would feel uncomfortable creating a directory of places where we couldn’t guarantee some level of quality.

What we have done instead is to list all the restaurants, cafes and bars that we have personally visited and written a review of (currently approaching 100 establishments all over Dorset). That way, we can know that we have tried to check quality and standard and you can get more of an idea of what you might be visiting before you book a table.

Some of the restaurants are part of national chains but most are local, independent restaurants. Any restaurant that we post a review of on the site, we have enjoyed visiting as we don’t post negative critiques.

Some of the restaurants we have discovered ourselves and some we have been invited to (always fully disclosed at the end of the blog) and we have listed them below so you can see if there are any close to you that you maybe haven’t tried.

You can also check out our other Directories of Dorset food and drink businesses…

If you own a restaurant, cafe or bar and would like us to visit, then just email us on info@dorset.foodiefeed.co.uk

Eat Out to Help Out.

* We have added an asterisk to each restaurant that is offering the UK Government’s Eat Out to Help Out scheme for 50% off the bill on Monday to Wednesday in August. You can check the Government’s restaurant finder to find more restaurants within a 5 mile radius to you.
