Kate ‘Ma’ Bolton is a gluten free food producer and chef extraordinaire. Often experimenting with ingredients, Kate’s produce is an amazing addition to the ‘free from’ sector as her food is often so nutritious as well as so full of flavour. Often making dairy free and vegan items as well, Kate is known for her gluten free pasties, her award winning pastry mix, her syrups and her ‘Marma’gin’ (gin marmalade).
This Christmas, in a special limited run, Ma Bolton is selling some Christmas puddings. These puds are luxury, gluten free and dairy free (nb. not vegan). Packed with vine fruits, prunes, apricots, cherries and almonds, finished with brandy and gluten free ale. Feeding 4-6 people, they cost £12 each.
You can also buy a vegan and gluten free Figgy Pudding. These are lighter than a Christmas pudding and sweeter due to the figs. Very traditional and absolutely delicious. They do not contain the numerous spices of a Christmas pudding, but do contain the traditional allspice. These puddings cost £6 and serve 2-3 people.
Each pudding is wrapped by hand and finished with a hand painted label.
You can order Ma Bolton’s Christmas and Figgy puddings via email – email@example.com
Kate wrote a gluten free recipe for us in April for gluten free wraps, which you can read here.
For generations, Italians have been growing olives on their small, family farms, free from chemicals, hand picked and lovingly pressed. Their olive oil is full of natural flavour and drenched in Italian sunshine but their farms are small so the oil is usually given away to family and sold in local Italian markets. Olivero Extra Virgin Olive Oil is your chance to buy a little bit of that Italian sunshine.
Olivero was founded by Angela in 2020, taking her family’s delicious olive oil and bringing it to Dorset. Olivero Extra Virgin Olive Oil is made with Organic olives grown in sunny southern Italy. The olives are left to grow entirely free from any chemical and are hand picked when ripe and cold pressed. This process leaves the oil full of natural flavour as well as full of many health benefits.
Olivero Extra Virgin Olive Oil starts at £5 for 100ml (plus delivery) and you can order yours for home delivery by visiting their website. www.oliveroonline.com
